Small Groups are a great way to connect. Our groups are spread throughout the Chattanooga area. Chances are, there will be one close to you. We usually run them in semesters, so if it’s close to a holiday or vacation season, some of these may not be meeting every week. If you have questions, just email the group’s leader. Browse the list below, then sign up online for Small Groups!
The downtown small group continues to be an eclectic mix of community-forward adults that spend time together in contemplation and the study of Scripture. It is discussion-focused, topics ranging from a specific subject to a chapter or book of the Bible. Members come from a diverse range of faith traditions, welcoming of all challenges and ideas in healthy dialog and relationship.
Co-pastor Melody hosts a small group focused on worship, study, and prayer. A more traditional small group, the young families and singles that attend emphasize doing life together as they meet, discuss God’s word, and build friendships.
As the longest running and most diverse small group, this gathering welcomes those of all ages and faith traditions. No matter one’s background, the East Brainerd small group is a hospitable group that starts with a community meal before a time of prayer and discussion. The group works organically and familially, listening to God and each other, welcoming all, and doing life together.
Drawing on the heritage of the Vineyard movement, this video course studies the historical, scriptural, and theological basis for prayer and power evangelism. More than knowledge, though, this class is designed to encourage attendees to “Do the stuff” that Jesus did, take risks for the Kingdom, and see what God can do when the extraordinary meets the everyday.
